directing
I’m an independent filmmaker whose short films span subjects from undying friendship to pet euthanasia. A New Leash On Life, my absurdist talking-dog comedy, has screened at over 30 international festivals—including VIFF ‘20—and aired nationwide on CBC. Free Range, an impromptu documentary made in collaboration with my eccentric family, premiered at DOXA ‘21 and was hailed as “a solid work of quirk” in their annual Programmer’s Pick. In 2023, I received the DGC Award for Best Director at Vancouver’s Run N’ Gun 48-Hour Film Competition for my team’s entry, Kubrick’s Moon Landing. I hold a B.F.A. in Film Production from Simon Fraser University and currently work in-house as a filmmaker for Lush Cosmetics.
